Ms. Miller received a Bachelors of Science degree in nursing from the Pennsylvania State University in 1988. She went on to earn a Masters in Public Health from Yale University in 1994 as well as a Doctor of Law, magna cum laude, from Cornell University in 1997. Directly after passing the New York bar exam, she clerked for a senior judge on the United States District Court, District of Connecticut and then for a judge on the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Following her clerkships, she passed the Massachusetts bar exam and went to work as an associate in the Health Care Practice Group of a large Boston law firm. In 2004, she was admitted as a Solicitor in England and Wales and was admitted to the Cologne Bar in 2005 as a foreign attorney.

Michelle Miller specializes in all aspects of European Union and International trademark law. She represents clients in International and Community trademark related proceedings as well in the negotiation and drafting of trademark licensing agreements. Moreover, she serves as a resource for European clients and colleagues regarding the US legal system.

Memberships: the Cologne Bar Association, the Law Society of England and Wales, the American Bar Association- International Group (ABA), INTA and ECTA.
